For this challenge, we invite you to become "virtual contributors" to the Asteroid Grand Challenge and develop a hypothetical method, concept note or simple prototype that demonstrates how Machine Learning could be used to help us avoid the same fate as the dinosaurs.
Using Machine Learning we built a model that uses Random Forests for classifying asteroids as hazardous and non-hazardous. It gives nearly 79% accuracy, speeds up the process of characterization asteroids and it can be of great use for fast classification and early detection of hazardous asteroids.
