Kuala Lumpur is taking part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge for the first time!!

The International NASA Space Apps Challenge is a two-day hackathon where teams of technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers and students across the globe collaborate and engage with publicly available data to design innovative solutions for global challenges.

Participants : Open for everyone (age 18 and above)

You don't need to have specific IT skills and knowledge

You may participate as individual or team

Number of Participants : 100 People

Fee : Free of Charge

You can get free drinks, food, t-shirts.

Global Award: 1st and 2nd award winner will get an Invitation to attend NASA’s launching space rocket (at own cost)

Local Award

- 1st award winner : Japan Space Trip (flight and tour guide is included)

- 2nd award winner : RM2,000.00 cash prize
